What Am I Supposed To Do With Those?

Gigi eyed me with suspicion as I rolled out two large and one small tire from the newly designated play shed.

“What am I supposed to do with those?” she asked me.

“What do you think you could do?” I responded. She thought for a few moments, still eyeing the tires with suspicion.

“Play?”

I’ll admit, I had hoped that she would immediately share my love of tires (did you know that I loved tires? I eye the two large tractor tires leaning against the
tree every time I drive by a certain farm). Instead of sharing my childhood memories of kindergarten recess playing on tires, I decided I would check on the garden and leave her to discover the magic of tires herself.

It didn’t take long before she tentatively stood on one tire and slowly made her way around the edge.

Soon, Gigi was jumping and twirling on and off of them, performing a show for the pups and her imaginary audience. I think I even heard a little song accompany her routine.
